Since 1974, we have been a four-day festival of contemporary art, design and craft that supports outstanding designer-makers and artisan from all over the UK. Immerse yourself into our creative world through live demonstrations, activities and workshops.
From Thursday, 9 May to Sunday, 12 May 2024 we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary in the beautiful parkland at Hatfield House.
Living Crafts offers a unique shopping experience that showcases contemporary arts and craft of an exceptionally high standard, and celebrates the talents of some of the UK’s most highly acclaimed designers-makers.
Discover original artwork, exquisite designs and handcrafted works to enhance your home. You can chat with the makers and purchase directly from them. You can even commission a piece that is unique to you.

You can watch the glassblowing theatre, talk to potters at their wheel, or even visit the Glassblowing Theatre. You will learn how to make beautiful art by watching the demonstrations and buying original works in the Craft Pavilions.
