The 61st Bologna Children's Book Fair was attended by 1,523 exhibitors representing 100 countries. BolognaBookPlus/Kids and Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids were also present. 31 735 visitors from the trade (up 10% compared to 2023) attended the 385 BCBF events over the course of four days. Bologna was once again confirmed as the capital of the world for the copyright and publishing rights trade, with a rise in attendance.
Bologna Children's Book Fair will take place between 31 March and 3 April 2025. Estonia will be the guest of honour country.
The Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre will be open from 15th to 17th of November.
The 2024 edition China Shanghai International Children's Book Fair will be held from 15-17 November.The Bologna Children's Book Fair and BolognaFiere jointly organise the CCBF, which is Asia Pacific's only book fair dedicated exclusively to children's books.
